Imminent New Laws to Combat Sexual Harassment in New York

New York City and State will imminently enact new laws aimed at combating workplace sexual harassment.
The new laws will, among other things, require mandatory annual anti-harassment training, limit the use of non-disclosure provisions in settlements, and purport to prohibit mandatory arbitration of discrimination and harassment claims.
