Jaime Fried is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Commercial Litigation, Antitrust and Employment Litigation Practice Groups. Her practice focuses on complex, high-stakes commercial litigation, including merger challenges, employment actions, and contractual or other business disputes. She has broad-based experience representing a wide variety of sophisticated clients, including those in the technology, insurance, legal, pharmaceutical and real estate sectors.

Ms. Fried joined Debevoise in 2018. From 2020 to 2021 she clerked for the Hon. Stanley Marcus, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Ms. Fried received a J.D. summa cum laude from Brooklyn Law School in 2018, where she was also the valedictorian. During law school, Ms. Fried was an executive articles editor of the Brooklyn Law Review and a member of Brooklyn Law School’s Moot Court Honor Society. She received a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in 2013.

Ms. Fried is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and is admitted to practice before the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Ninth Circuit.
