Khrystyna Rayko is a corporate counsel and a member of the firm’s Insurance and Financial Institutions Groups, where she advises clients on a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, reinsurance and regulatory.

Ms. Rayko originally joined Debevoise in 2015 and rejoined Debevoise in 2026. Between 2021 and 2026, Ms. Rayko was a Vice President, Associate Transaction Counsel at a leading life and annuity reinsurer. Ms. Rayko received a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School magna cum laude in 2015. At Brooklyn Law School, she was a notes & comments editor of the Brooklyn Law Review. She received a B.A. from CUNY Lehman College summa cum laude in 2011. She is fluent in Ukrainian and proficient in Russian.
