Debevoise Advises Pitney Bowes in Sale of Its Global Production Mail Business to Platinum Equity

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Pitney Bowes on the sale of its Document Messaging Technologies (DMT) production mail business and supporting software to Platinum Equity for $361 million, subject to certain adjustments. The transaction is expected to close late in the second or early in the third quarter.

Pitney Bowes is a global technology company that provides commerce solutions in the areas of shipping and mailing, data and ecommerce, while Pitney Bowes’ Document Messaging Technologies production mail business is a global leader in enterprise print, mail and customer communications solutions.
