Jon Adler is Co-Chair of Debevoise’s Private Equity Group and a member of the firm’s Investment Management Group and Liability Management & Special Situations team. His practice focuses on advising sponsors of private investment funds, including buyout, growth capital, energy, infrastructure, credit and real estate funds.

Catherine Amirfar is Co-Chair of Debevoise’s International Dispute Resolution Group and Chair of the Public International Law Group. Her practice focuses on public international law, international commercial and treaty arbitration, and complex international commercial litigation. She served on the firm’s Management Committee from 2019 to 2025.

Peter Schuur is Chair of Debevoise’s global tax practice. He advises on a broad range of U.S. and cross-border M&A transactions, with a particular focus on public and private M&A and corporate transactions in the insurance industry.
