Sheng Shao is a registered foreign lawyer (New York) and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group.
Mr. Shao received a J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 2018. He received an LL.B. from Southwest University of Political Science and Law in 2015. He is recognised for Private Equity by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific – Greater China (2024).
Mr. Shao joined Debevoise in 2021 from another leading international law firm in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he practiced at another leading international law firm in New York. Mr. Shao is a member of the Bar of the State of New York. He passed the PRC National Judicial Examination in 2015.
Mr. Shao is a native Mandarin Chinese speaker.
