Sophia Huang is a registered foreign lawyer (California) in the Tax Department.
Ms. Huang joined Debevoise in 2022 from another leading international law firm where she advised high net worth individuals and their families and businesses on a wide range of U.S. tax-related matters.
Ms. Huang received a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, cum laude in 2015, where she was executive editor of Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Fudan University in 2010.
Ms. Huang is a member of the Bar of the State of California.
Ms. Huang is a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and is fluent in English and Cantonese.
