Timothy Cuffman is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Mr. Cuffman joined Debevoise in 2019. He received a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2019, where he was a James Kent Scholar and an executive editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. He received a B.A. with highest honors from Cedarville University in 2011, and he received an M.A. in Philosophy from Stony Brook University in 2013.

Mr. Cuffman is the author of “The State Power to Boycott a Boycott: The Thorny Constitutionality of State Anti-BDS Laws,” 57 Columbia Journal of Transnational Law 115 (2018). He is also a co-author of “Justices Skeptical that Refusal to Register TRUMP TOO SMALL Violates the First Amendment,” IPWatchdog (November, 2023).
