Veronica Aroutiunian is a partner in Debevoise & Plimpton Europe, S.à r.l., the managing general partner of Debevoise & Plimpton (Luxembourg) SCS. She is a member of the firm’s Funds/Investment Management and Private Equity Groups.

Ms. Aroutiunian advises clients on the regulatory and corporate aspects of structuring, establishing, operating and marketing Luxembourg regulated and unregulated investment vehicles.

She is an active member and contributor to key industry trade organisations, including the Luxembourg Investment Funds Association (ALFI) and the Luxembourg Private Equity Association (LPEA), where she regularly participates in initiatives focused on marketing, distribution, and the democratization of private assets. Her involvement has included input on key industry publications and thought-leadership projects, such as ALFI’s guidance on marketing and distribution considerations and contributions to industry discussions around ELTIF 2.0.

Ms. Aroutiunian was named by Law.com International as amongst Europe’s best up-and-coming female lawyers in 2024, describing her as “one of the outstanding women lawyers in Luxembourg's investment funds industry.”

She is also recognized by Chambers Europe (2025) as an Up and Coming Partner, in Legal 500 EMEA (2025) as a Next Generation Partner, and in IFLR1000 (2025) as a Notable Practitioner. Chambers Europe quotes one client as saying Veronica is “highly intelligent, commercial and a pleasure to work with.
