Changes to Third-Party Rights Under Scots Law Contracts: What You Need to Know

Scotland has updated its law so that contracts can give rights to third parties more easily.
The new provisions are helpful, but specific wording should be used in contracts to take advantage of the new regime.
It is now advisable to specify in the contract when third parties are not intended to be given any rights under Scots law.
