Debevoise Advises One Rock Capital Partners on the Formation of Latest Private Equity Fund

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has advised One Rock Capital Partners, a leading middle-market private equity firm, in connection with the formation of its latest fund, One Rock Capital Partners II, LP. The fund successfully closed with total capital commitments of $964 million.

One Rock Capital Partners’ Fund II was launched in mid-January 2017, and due to strong investor demand, closed at its hard cap on March 31. The fund’s investor base consists of a diverse set of government and corporate pension plans, insurance companies, health organizations, endowments and foundations, and high net worth families.

One Rock was formed in 2010 by Tony W. Lee and R. Scott Spielvogel, formerly Managing Directors at Ripplewood Holdings. Debevoise also served as lead counsel for the firm during the formation of its debut fund, One Rock Capital Partners, LP.

The Debevoise team was led by partner Rebecca F. Silberstein and included partner Michael Bolotin and associates Zila Reyes Acosta-Grimes, Cate H. Bae, Joseph M. Binder, Evan W. Neu, Anjali Salooja, Bari N. Steinberg and Helen Tang.
