Debevoise Advises International Paper on the Combination of Its North America Consumer Packaging Business with Graphic Packaging

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising International Paper (NYSE: IP) on the combination of its North America Consumer Packaging business with Graphic Packaging Holding Company (NYSE: GPK). The transaction, valued at $1.8 billion, creates a leading consumer packaging platform and is expected to close in early 2018.

International Paper is a leading global producer of renewable fiber-based packaging, pulp and paper products with manufacturing operations in North America, Latin America, Europe, North Africa and Russia.
