Debevoise Advises The Carlyle Group in Its Sale of MedRisk to CVC

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG), as MedRisk’s current controlling shareholder, in the sale of a majority stake in MedRisk to CVC Capital Partners. Carlyle will retain a significant minority investment in the company and will control it jointly with CVC. For more information, please see the companies’ press release.

Debevoise also advised Carlyle on the original acquisition of the company in late 2017.

MedRisk is the largest managed care organization dedicated to the physical rehabilitation of injured workers. CVC is a leading private equity and investment advisory firm that manages approximately $109 billion in assets.
