Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising HCA Healthcare, Inc. (NYSE:HCA) in its agreement to divest certain assets from its newly formed home health, hospice and outpatient therapy joint venture with Brookdale Health Care services – the home health, hospice and outpatient therapy business of Brookdale Senior Living Inc. (NYSE:BKD) – to LHC Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: LHCG). Under the agreement, LHC will purchase several Brookdale Health Care Services agencies from the joint venture including 23 home health locations, 11 hospice and 13 therapy agencies across 22 states.
