While in law school, he served as an editor for the journal Annual Survey of American Law. He has interned at the Securities and Exchange Commission, the US Attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York, and the New York Attorney General’s Office. Prior to law school, he received a PhD in history from NYU’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and, before that, a B.A. summa cum laude from Yeshiva University.Mr. Bernstein has proficiency in Hebrew and Yiddish.
