Experience
Steven Slutzky is a corporate partner whose practice focuses on securities offerings and related transactions. He regularly represents issuers and underwriters in securities transactions including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, debt offerings and private placements. Mr. Slutzky represented the acquirors in the $2.7 billion high yield portion of the financing of their successful bid for The Hertz Corporation and Hertz Global Holdings in its $1.3 billion initial public offering of common stock. He also recently represented Verizon in its $13 billion spin-off of its directories business and related financings. In 2004, he represented the underwriters in B&G Food’s income deposit security (IDS) offering, one of only a handful of successful IDS offerings to be brought to the public market. He also led the Debevoise team in two novel publicly registered funding agreement-backed notes programs for Protective Life and Hartford Life. He is a member of the Securities and Insurance Industry Groups.
