Debevoise Serves as Lead Transaction Counsel to Covetrus, a CD&R and TPG Portfolio Company, in Its Merger with MWI Animal Health, Valuing MWI at $3.5 Billion

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is serving as lead transaction counsel to Covetrus, a global animal health and technology and services company and portfolio company of CD&R and TPG, in its merger with MWI Animal Health, a global provider of animal health products, valuing MWI at $3.5 billion. As part of the transaction, Cencora (NYSE: COR), a parent company of MWI, will retain a 34.3% common equity stake in the combined company. For more information, please see the press release.
