Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has advised Stone Pont Capital LLC (“Stone Point”) in an equity investment in Ardonagh Group (“Ardonagh”), one of the world’s largest independent insurance distribution platforms.
The investment from funds managed by Stone Point values Ardonagh at $14 billion. Completion is expected to take place in mid-2025, at which point Stone Point will become a significant shareholder in Ardonagh.
