Debevoise Advises EQT in Its Role as Investment Manager of The Scaleup Europe Fund

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising EQT in its role as investment manager for the Scaleup Europe Fund, which is now fully established following completion of the final legal steps.

The fund is now set to start boosting Europe's scaleup companies to grow faster and compete globally, with a target of €5 billion.

The Scaleup Europe Fund was announced by European Commission President von der Leyen in her 2025 State of the Union Address, to help ensure that Europe's most promising companies can grow into global leaders.

Alongside the European Commission, the group of founding investors in the fund include Novo Holdings, EIFO (Export and Investment Fund of Denmark), CriteriaCaixa, Santander/Mouro Capital, Fondazione Compagnia San Paolo/ Intesa Sanpaolo/Fondazione Cariplo, APG Asset Management, acting on behalf of Dutch pension fund ABP, Wallenberg Investments and Allianz.
